What Are Affordable Care Act Insurance Plans?

Affordable Care Act (ACA), or "Obamacare," plans are coverage options also found on  healthcare.gov. These comprehensive plans meet the requirements laid out in the Affordable Care Act. These policies usually come with monthly premiums, copays, an annual deductible and coinsurance.

If you have a preexisting condition or face a critical medical emergency, these policies can help to prevent catastrophic financial losses. These plans provide for inpatient/outpatient services, doctor visits, prescription drugs, hospital stays, etc.

An ACA plan ensures you cannot be denied coverage due to a preexisting condition. However, you can only enroll during open enrollment or special enrollment periods.

At Benefit Bloc, we'll work with you to select the right ACA plan for the needs of you and your family. Click the button below for an estimate of what your rates would be. Or call (866) 207-0594 to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced brokers.
